This one is all about air management and endurance:
Wearing full PPE, including SCBA climb the tower at station #1 on air until your bottle is completely empty.
Make sure your bottle is topped off 100% full, go on air as you enter the door to the tower, make sure you touch the wall at the top (just like the LPAT), and for safety you must touch every stair on the way down. In the comments record how long you were able to make the bottle last as well as how many times you completed the tower, all the way to the top and back to the door is 1 evolution (1/2 evolutions count).
This is a good one to do on crew, good luck and have fun!
20:23 and 19 laps (thomas)
ReplyDelete24:30 and 24.5 laps (Legan) (WTF)
18:49 and 15 laps (Waldmann)
Although I must say that Legan and Waldmann worked out before they did this little challenge so they both made me look pretty bad.
Oh yeah, we all carried axes as well.
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! That's going to be tough to beat, I don't know if I could make a bottle last 24 minutes sitting on a couch.
ReplyDelete17 minutes and 16.5 laps.
ReplyDeleteI hope you guys are strong enough to drage me out, because it looks like I'll be out first.
Going for quantity not quality I lasted 14:10 but did 17 laps!
ReplyDeleteAlright, I got some probie times:
ReplyDeleteWaldmann: 21:10 18 Laps
Moberg: 23:23 20 Laps
Harrod: 24:10 23 Laps
Were we supposed to go in the basement stairwell? I started there instead of at the front door.
ReplyDelete20:10 and 16 laps
I shut off my bottle when my mask "sucked to my face" but there was a depressing amount of air left when I opened the purge ...
17 laps in 18:05.
ReplyDelete-Sonka
From the Basement with an axe and a radio I did 11.5 laps in 18.5 min. Here is a link to my data:

I'll be doing this one again from the landing, not the basement.
As presribed + axe
ReplyDeleteCarter 14:58 14 1/2 laps
Sonka 17:45 17 1/2 laps
Wright 20:58 18 laps
Harrod Quit 12:39 1600psi left 13 laps
I am impressed at the number of FF's over the 20 minute mark, that is outstanding. Especially considering the number of stories you can climb while doing it.
ReplyDeleteNow that's air management!
